Ok, so my girlfriends roomate got this game for christmas and so I went over to play it last night, and the scoring system is the most bullshit thing i've ever heard of in my whole life.
The game is basically like taboo and hot potato. You pick catagories on the little machine and then start the timer, you then try and get your team to guess the word that shows up on the screen, and when they get it, you pass it off to the other team and they have to get their team to guess the next word. So basically you sit in a circle alternating team members.
Ok, so instead of tallying up the scores so the best team will most likely win, they score like this: The timer counts down through a series of beeps that go faster and faster, and when the timer runs out the team who doesn't have the machine in their hands gets a point.
What I noticed is that about 80% of the time you started the timer, the other team ended up with it, no matter how many words were guessed during the time.
Also, as you can tell, it relies on an incredible ammount of luck, your team could be completely retarded, yet you could win a lot of the times because you simply took a rediculous ammount of time to guess the clue, and then about 3 seconds after you passed the machine on the timer ran out.
