I was in a small office league that I WON by correctly picking 154 out of 256 regular season games.

This wasn't even against the spread, just straight up.

Is it just me, or should the winner have had a lot more correct?

I always do the thing they have on espn.com every year since I'm to lazy to keep track of my progress myself. This season I picked 164 out of the 256 games, so your office must not watch any football.

He averaged just under 10 of 16 per week. You averaged just over 10 of 16. Pretty close. And not bad for a season either of you.

In our office pool, we pick 10 games each week (5 college and 5 pro) until the last few weeks when we have to pick 10 pro games. I had the best record this year, getting 112 out of 170 correct. 66% is nothing to brag about, but I still won.

I was in a league with my cousin. He has downs syndrome and he picked 151 games correctly.

Where do you work?

3rd place. 138/256 (53.9%) correct ATS.

Winner came in at 150 (58.6%) in our pool and has notions of becoming a career sports gambler.

Anyhow, congrats, dude. Hope you made some bank.

I was shocked and awed to win the league with such a low total.

Of course, the overall championship means nothing; wins are paid on a weekly basis.

I won 4 times, for a net profit of around $50.

Very, very low stakes, obviously.

Against the spread, 58% is pretty darn good (only need to be able to do a little better than 53% to make money, right?), but ultimately not sustainable by most....
