We are down to 7 players in a 4 table tournament, blinds at 2000/4000. 6 places paid!
1 seat is sb w/18K
2 seat is BB w/5200
3 seat (me) 2200
4 seat 60K
5 seat 16K
6 seat 8K
7 seat is button w/25K
BB has 1200 left after posting blind and is an EXTREMELY tight player. He will be allin next hand if he folds when he gets the SB.
I will be allin next hand on BB.
I fold, seat 4 w/60K raises to 12K seat 5,6 fold. Seat 7 w/25K (second chip leader) calls. Seat 1 folds, BB folds.
Flop comes K J 3 (suits do not matter) Seat 4 checks, seat 7 checks. Turn comes T, seat 4 checks, seat 7 goes all in. Seat 4 calls and turns over K J. Seat 7 shows A J and fails to improve on river.
The 2 seat and I jumped for joy!
Is there ANY hand you would have called the chipleaders bet with if you were seat 7? A case for folding ( I shudder to say) AA.
Footnote-I won the next hand in my BB with K J and finiched 5'th.
