Why bet the river? I don't see any value in a river bet here.

I have a pair and no one has shown aggression. That's not enough to bet?

The pot is tiny, nobody has shown any agression because they don't have anything, or someone who watches too much WPT is slowplaying a monster. What hands will call you here that you beat? You win the same amount if it's checked through and ris k nothing, and can call a bet for the same price. I just con't see any value in the bet.

You're right.

Five opponents at a microlimit table, only one Ace on board and you don't have one = very high chance one of your opponents has an Ace.

Seems to me that a lot of bad players would check the flop and even the turn in an attempt to slowplay their 'monster' hand. The passivity at this level is so high that they don't want to knock people out.

Pot is tiny so it's likely you're just inflating it for someone else by betting the river.

"What hands will call you here that you beat?"

Any 8, Lots of small PP's, KQ. I would bet this river plenty of times, if its folded around to me after the raise...meh. I call.
