KK has been killing me lately
I usually bet like crazy unless there is an obvious problem with board. Didn't see much here.

villian is a TAA solid player

really don't like that c/r

bet, if he raises you are in trouble, call

check call the river

about the only thing he might have that you beat is JJ or QQ...neither is likely

What gives here? I don't really like the flop 3-bet but that isn't a big deal. This hand was not poorly played by any means.

Once he caps the flop that should turn you into check calling mode, unless you get lucky and spike a king. The check raise on the turn is especially horrible, and when he 3-bets it you should fold especially if this guy is a TA-A. I mean the flop play signifies he either has the straight or has flopped a set or two pair... all of which you are behind, but wouldn't put him on as he started the preflop raising. Turn into check call mode after the flop.

The cap should have told you you were probably behind to something that beats your kings.

I call the turn and river bets, but I do not raise the turn here unless a King comes off.
