Not much of a read on MP2. He'd played 3 of 7 hands, and had played calling station before with both an underpair an A-high. I think the latter played too much of a part in my check here (well, that, and surprise at seeing board quads). In retrospect, do you value bet this river?

He can't call if you don't bet. (And with this board all kinds of crap will call.)

No way do I bet here. What do you do when you get raised? I check-call at most. Just hope he hung around with JT and not K3 or something else suitably stupid.

What kind of crap is calling that not bigger then a Q? I can't imagine anyone bad enough to call here without at least a K. If he has a K he can be thinking, if he doesn't have the ace I'm good. But, how does he justify such a horrible call with a J or less?

against a better player a bet may be in order in order to potentially fold a potential K high.
