i've been playing the Play Money SNGs on Stars ( /images/graemlins/grin.gif yes, i said Play Money), from 9 player to 45 player, and have done quite well against all those loose crazies. however, i'm looking to get my fet wet for something less than Pokerstar's $5+$.50s. i've heard Paradise has some for around $2s. anybody got opinions on their SNG setup?

answers apreciated.

I've just started playing them on Paradise. Played 3 $5+$1's in the past three days and I won them all so far (my ROI thanks them... I was down to 14% on Pacific).

The only other site I've played SnG's on is Pacific. Pacific starts out at 10/20 and goes up every 15 hands.

Paradise goes up every 10 hands, and takes takes bigger leaps. They start at 15/30, then 25/50, 50/100, 100/200, 200/400, 400/800, 600/1200 (furthest I've been).

Pacific goes 10/20, then 15/30, then 25/50, then 50/100, then 75/150, then 100/200, etc.

So far the ones I've played have been extremely tight with pots usually HU after the flop, even in the early rounds.

Oh, and they don't have $2 SnG's. Pacific used to have them, but doesn't anymore. Pacific has $2.50+.25 limit SnG's. Paradise's smallest is $5.00+$1.00.

Paradise has MTT's for $2.

Absolute has sngs as low as $.50, along with $2 ones.

My roommate plays them and from what I can see, they are very fishy, almost like play money.

Excellent structure at Paradise - as a few of my other posts have said.

So far I've played 76 $5 games - ITM 55%, ROI 40%.
i know this is a small sample, but for other sites over the same period, and same number, my ROI is about 20%.

I play Paradise because the structure is so good and suits a v tight early game, and the competition is real fishy. i also play Stars to build up a greater skill level at the same time. Playing Stars has def helped with blind stealing which translates oh so well to paradise!
