I just got done watching Conspiracy Theories on Fox (bootleg I made offline). It talks about how the 1st landing on the moon was a complete hoax pulled off by the U.S. to beat the Russians in the space race. I'm sure many of you have seen this because I think it was on the air in 2000. Regardless, I just saw it for the 1st time and I am really curious about what you think. Don't flame me here or anything I'm just a curious person. So, do you think we really landed on the moon? Discuss.

I apologize if we did. I was too lazy to search. Sorry.

I just watched a show on this on National Geographic Channel. Most of the "evidence" that the advocates of the hoax theory offer is really lame. For example: there were no stars showing in the photographs. Obviously these clowns know nothing about photography. The photos were exposed for bright sunlight. Of course the stars didn't show. Also, the way the astronats moved in the low gravity would have been pretty hard (but probably not impossible) to fake. Also, how many people would have known it was a hoax? Hundreds for sure. At least one of them would have spilled the beans.

Whether you belive it was a hoax or not it still is an interesting topic to debate. I'm just upset someone beat me to the punch.

That reminds me, I haven't watched the classic movie "Capricorn One" in a long time. Another one to add to my Netflix queue.

Oh, sure. Like Capricorn One was really a movie. We all know it was just a hoax.

The clincher was the paper mache rock with a "C" on it. Film studios mark props with letters to keep track of them. One of the prop men made a mistake and didn't put the "C" side on the floor.

why wouldn't they put a C on the bottom?

if they were gonna use that rock in a movie, they wouldn't want the C showing.

dumb.

I think it has been said in the December moon hoax thread that telescopes with such power do not yet exist.
