Just curious how many of you have experienced one or more significant downswings during your poker career, and believe that variance has not yet made up the lost BB due to the swing(s).
For example, if you normally bring in $750/wk at $2/$4, and had a downswing of 300BB over the course of 3 weeks, you might theoretically be behind $3,450, which you then expect positive variance would hopefully make up, in addition to your regular $750 weekly earn.
Or is your $750/wk cushioning for a downswing, so your weekly earn would actually be less than that?
