Yes.

It depends, but probably yes too.

I am with you up until your 3 bet on the flop. When villian caps the flop and bets the turn he is telling me "I have aces" (or maybe kings). I go into call mode at that point and hope he is overplaying JJ or TT.

I don't know what to make of the check on the river. I will be happy to read others opinions on that one.

any read on UTG .. he limps, then calls 2 cold before you cap .. and checkraises a 633 board

have you how he plays sml pairs in EP, is he raising anything preflop? is he someone who won't raise aces preflop because he's scared everyone will fold

you aren't behind much on this flop, but you are crushed if you are behind

That is what I get for reading this post too fast -- I just assumed the guy that went nuts was the pf raiser. oops.

If he were any good, I would put him on pocket 3s or 6s. What else would he have to limp in in early position, call two bets cold PF and then check raise the Flop to cap? I would be calling him down from the turn on.

I can't remember what this guy had exactly (I could look it up). I think he had aces. /images/graemlins/frown.gif

So the answer to my question is NO, THIS IS NOT HOW YOU PLAY QQ! /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Calling down after the flop cap would have been wise. It took me 2 more big bets to get it into my head that I was behind. Not good.

His river check was really weird though.

Thanks for your comments, guys.

Yes you gave too much action here. These micro opponents are not tricky, he has you over the barrel here.

Not at all, you just have to think like them. After all "the straight draw got there on the river".
