Well, I didn't get many more hands in at all in the last 2 days of the challenge. I played for a few minutes on the 30th heads up against a guy, and won $80. Didn't play at all on the 31st.

I ended up only getting to play on 17 of the 31 days of December. One of the main reasons I failed in this challenge. Here are my final stats:

+$3,309.84
19,311 hands
61 hours
8.57 big blinds/100 hands
$54.26/hour
$827.46/week
+$194.70/playing day
17 playing days
13 winning days
4 losing days

My good start was destroyed by the worst stretch of poker yet for me:

1st half stats:

+$2,539.38
10,064 hands
32 hours
12.62 big blinds/100 hands
$79.36/hour
$1,269.69/week
$317.42/playing day
8 playing days
8 winning days
0 losing days

2nd half stats:

+770.46
9,247 hands
29 hours
4.17 big blinds/100 hands
$26.57/hour
$385.23/week
$85.61/playing day
9 playing days
5 winning days
4 losing days

This does not include rakeback. Thanks for the questions/comments/suggestions/advice during this challenge. I'm now going to be working on learning limit. I still haven't found a coach, so I'll be on my own at least for now. Again, here are the final stats for the challenge:

+$3,309.84
19,311 hands
61 hours
8.57 big blinds/100 hands
$54.26/hour
$827.46/week
+$194.70/playing day
17 playing days
13 winning days
4 losing days

Happy New Year!

Well your stats are fine, you just didn't play enough hands.

Good luck learning limit!

"Well your stats are fine, you just didn't play enough hands."

Ya, I had aimed for 25,000 hands. With finals week and the holidays all during my challenge it was tough to play a lot of days.

Good luck learning limit!"

Thanks, I'll need it. I think adjusting to the new types of pre-flop hands will be the biggest adjustment. I played basically all off instinct in NL, so this will be a big change.
