Which do YOU think are the better chips (considering that the prices I've seen for both tend to be around $1 per chip for the higher quality chips, which do you like best?)

Also, be aware, I'm not talking about those chips you find on ebay claiming to be clay. I'm talking about true clay chips that cost $1 per chip, and the ceramics, that are made by Chipco for example.

For what it's worth, I like clay chips the best. I believe they have a nicer feel/texture than ceramics, and obviously their edge spots line up with the face, while ceramics rarely do.

While ceramics seem to usually have more vibrant graphics, I like the classy/classic look of clays compared to ceramics, since they seem to match more closely with the chips you see in the tourneys on tv.

I have both and go back and forth between them. I tend to take my ceramics out to friends games because they are so tough and most of them can be replaced. I rarely get out my paulson's because they are so expensive to replace. Way more than $1 a piece now or impossible to find. I prefer broken in paulsons to brand new ones for actual game play. I don't really want to use the new ones so much that they become broken in like the ones that actually came from the casinos. It's nice to see them in mint condition. Catch 22 I guess. The hardest thing is going to a game with those 'other' chips. Takes away some of the fun.
