After thinking about it some more I've decided to change the question mark in the title to a full stop.

Situations like this have come up for me all the time recently. I have never won with trips on the turn (and a 3rd suited card hits the turn) against a check/raise in the last 5 or 6 times I've had them. Everytime they have the flush.

Call and see a showdown. You are chopping with virtually any king.

I always love bison's posts! Straight forward, direct, to the point, this is the way it is, deal with it.

You have to call this one down. Even if he has a flush you have 9 outs. Its one bet to call for a 7bb pot, you have odds to call.

Edit: Make that 10 outs, I forgot the case King

Proper punishment for folding this: you should be drug out into the middle of the street and castrated.

You do know you have 10 outs to beat a flush right? (That is assuming you are behind.)

I realised it once a couple of people had replied.

The thought of improving didn't occur to me at the time, I folded because I didn't think my hand was best.

I didn't take into account the pot size or my outs. Taking the question mark out of the title was my equivalent of deleting the thread /images/graemlins/grin.gif
