Check out T.R. King too. Ultimately though, you need to just get samples and decide for yourself, because nobody's opinion really matters but your own!

Before investing in 'the very best' you (meaning ME! /images/graemlins/ooo.gif ) needs to try something cheaper that you can do as a 'passalong' set while you evaluate chips. That way you (standing in for me as I project at 10,000 lumens) don't hurry into a set just to have something with which to practice chip tricks.

"Suited dice" at a buddy's last night: not bad and only a few misprints / insert showing through.

(Jonesing for my wide array of samples to come to me /images/graemlins/ooo.gif )

Your title "very best chip" is sujective. But many people agree that the Paulson chip is the "best" chip. A majority of casinos use the Paulson chip and if "best" means being like a casino, then Paulson is the answer.

But I personally love the Egyptian set that 10% has designed. Either way, the "best" chip will go for around a dollar per chip. /images/graemlins/mad.gif

"Very best" huh? Depends what you mean. And it's a subjective decision based on feel, looks, edge spots, price etc. Here are my opinions.

The very best are undoubtedly actual casino Paulsons. But very expensive these days.

Next would be other real Paulson 39mm fantasy chips from years ago, or possibly the new Paulson home chips, though nobody's had them yet so I can't say for sure.

To me, the Horsehead mold is next best, and equal to Paulson. Like the Palmas Casino (real) chips, or the Kardwell Casino Pro chips. But I admit that I have a weakness for Horseheads!

The Martini Clubs and Nevada Jacks clays are next, for me. Oh, and the BPC Modern Clays.

The other ASM or Blue Chip chips also feel good to me, as do T.R.King's. To me, they're a little bit below Paulsons or Horseheads, but other people think differently.
