Hi, this is my first post and I want to thank you all for the great advice I've already read on this board.

Onto my question: I've been able to successfully and easily beat limit .5/1 at Party for a while, but I am unable to have any success at it while multitabling. I'm curious as to the setup other players have; do you use a laptop like myself and have most the windows overlap or do you prefer/need a desktop monitor with high resolution allowing you to fully see the action at every table?

I use both. On my laptop the windows overlap some, but its not to bad.
Obviously I like seeing all the windows better, but it doesn't affect the way I play at all.

If you can beat 1 table by a good margin, just try to beat 2 for a little while, then add tables as you think you are doing well.

I use a higher resolution in my laptop. Not high enough for me to see two tables completely, but I like to be able to see my cards and the common cards on all tables.

I used to 6 table with a 1650X1050 laptop with lots of overlap, now i 8 table with two of the beautiful 2001FPs, no overlap!

I remember being completely unable to play even two tables on my old monitor because of the overlap, but quickly adjusting to four tables of 6max once I got a 1600x1200 monitor. So don't lose heart just because you're not comfortable multitabling so far.

I have 2 monitors that are capable of 1600 x 1200 resolution. I put 4 tables on each screen and at 1600 x 1200 resolution there is no overlap.

I use a laptop and have some overlap.

How do you guys play more than 4 tables at once? I ask because apparently Party Poker only allows you to open 4 games at once.
