Playing almost all the NL tournies tonight on Pokerstars. Maybe some sit and goes too. "snowbank" is my name on there. Stop by the tables if you are playing in any.

well after losing my small BR in the $10 buy in tournaments its time to restart and try the lower ones, Slow night for me, not many <$5 buy in tournaments today. (first week in MTT's)

I'll be watching you and anyone else playing, trying to learn..

I'm playing in a $5 rebuy one right now, and there's a $5 one in a few hours I think.

I'm no tourney expert so don't base a great deal of my play on the "how to" for tournies.

the main leak in my game is going from middle stages to the final table, I'll have an average stack most of the game then when the blinds go 600/1200 I tighten up and lose, which after reading 4-5 really good threads is the opposite of what i should be doing. so we'll see.

You might want to practice with 2-table sit and goes.

good idea, thx

the only prob with that is the lowest buy in is $5, which is a big chunk of my $50. I'll just have to stick to the lower buyins and hope for results.

That $5 tourney starts in 30 minutes. Make sure to stop by the table if you're in it.

What's so great about PokerStars?

No, seriously, I've been playing Empires $30+3 SNGs and some tourneys and they are incrediably soft. I'm not sure that's a good thing though, I'm not sure if if the competition is improving my game. But it's always sounds like PokerStars is so much tougher I'd be very frustrated. Why do people choose PokerStars?

I asked this same question a few days ago and most replied its personal preference. Just play whatever feels best to you.

well im off to a bad start

KK in MP, 3 limpers, make it 150 to go, 2 callers.

flop comes 7 8 9
sb leads out for 20, bb calls

i raise to 350, both call

turn is a jack, raising like crazy insues. I fold /images/graemlins/frown.gif

both turn over a 10.
