Last hand of the night for me. I am down, but not so much from poker as from the whiskey and cokes ive had to pay for. I hate missouri casinos. Anyway. I had been waiting all night to be UTG on a BB kill post, so i could straddle for twelve, Never happened. So this did.
Same table as before. No kill.
I straddle UTG. Get dealt two cards. Dont look at them. The player to my left raises. I have a read on him, but it doesnt matter because i dont look at my cards. The button calls with a short stack. I reraise. Both call,
Flop. A35 two hearts.
I bet. No one except my friend has noticed that i still havent looked at my cards. The player to my left raises to six. Button goes all in for 7. I try to three bet, but apparently the people in kc are big pussies and dont know how to properly allow me to spew. I complete to nine. I try to talk the other player in capping. He still hasnt noticed i havent looked at my cards. (they arent even protected. Im in the 4-seat, so they are just sitting in front of my chips.) He says something about not falling for those games. The guy to his left, who has ben bitching about every little rules infraction and bad play,, starts his routine. I ask him if he wants to cap for the other player. I dont think he udnerstands, i just hear lots of swearing.)
Turn. 2 spade. I check. He bets. I raise. He looks at my cards, but i still dont think he gets it.
River. T hearts I bet he calls. The dealer says let me see em. I respond, well, lets see what i got. I turn over an ace. I say "Sweet, i probably missed a bet or two." The flip over a four. "look at that, ive got a straight. Poker is easy." Now the guy realizes i had no clue what i had at anypoint in the hand. I dont think he is happy. He Mucks something, muttering under his breath. The all in shows something like TJ of hearts for the rivered flush. B&M is rigged.
