Hello everyone,

I have been doing a little bit of reading on TA and am totally confused! I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find a totally begginers tutorial or lesson for Stock TA online? I was thinking of ordering the book: Technical Analysis but would much rather see what I can find online (free or otherwise) first.

I have found a lot of tutorials but they do not seem to take an absolute begginers point of view like I need.

Thanks for the help!

Try "Technical Analysis: A Personal Seminar" by the New York Institute of Finance.

Edwards and Magee wrote a great book.

Here is the link. It's a tutorial and a ref-guide all in one- the best TA book on earth.

Analysis of Stock Trends, by Edwards and Magee (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0814406807/qid=1104895165/sr=8-1/ref=pd_csp_1/104-1415801-1048701?v=glance&s=books&n=507846)

If you are lost, focus on price and volume. All the other oscillators, indicators etc etc are derivative of price and volume.

Have fun.
