I really didn't expect him to call my push here. I put him on A6 or AA-QQ or possibly a made straight on the turn. As this was only level II in a $10+1 sng, is it the correct play to limp here with low PP with the no set, no bet mindset?

I would play this pretty much the same.

Depending on how the table has been playing I sometimes won't even limp with small pocket pairs early (when there has been lots of preflop raises I fold unless I'm in late position).

Once that flop comes there are really only two hands you are worried about at all. By the turn there are 4 possible hands that I would be worried about BB possibly having (66, 44, 63 or 64), but I would play the hand pretty much just as you did.

If you wound up getting beat, well it happens but I don't think there is anything wrong with your play here. Just my humble $0.02.
