In 34 $50 SNG's, my stats are as follows:
ROI: 55.5%
ITM: 50.0%

In 23 $10 SNG's, my stats are:
ROI: -36.8%
ITM: 26.1%

I don't do too well in $10 SNG's. Strangely, I find $50 SNG's easier.

Do I need to play more or is this data significant?

What % of ROI and ITM is decent?

just to warn you - when you post numbers with just a total of 57 SNGs you are going to get ripped with having WAY too small a sample size. I'm not going to do it, but be forewarned. Do a search on ROI and you'll see that you need hundreds and hundreds of SNGs to have your stats mean anything.

I have several hundred under my belt and refuse to post my stats to this forum becuase my sample size is too small.

Check back in when you've played 500 - 1000 and let us know what it looks like then.

And I mean all of this in the most friendly way possible.

This is a completely results oriented statement. If you find 50$ SNG's easier than 10$'s, then you have just been getting lucky in the 50's, and don't understand much about the nature of SNGs beatability.

Also, if you think you can beat the 50s but would be a loser at the 10's, you have no business playing the 50s. Get 500 tourneys in at the 10/20/30 level to teach yourself the game and find out what kind of returns you are looking at.

We all didn't know at one point too. Good luck.

I posted here a week ago my ROI being around 38% in the $200 sngs, with only a 200 sample size. Then I went on a bad break even run, and it dropped down to 28% after 60 games. ROI %'s can change very fast. 27 games is way too small to even know where you stand. I guess you can get a good estimate at around 500-1000 games.

the thing with roi is that it can change so quickly, even if you have logged 500. i think 1000 is just barely cracking the ice. you can go on a hot streak, win 3 in a row, and pump your roi up 4% even if u have 800. i have played a total of about 1800 sngs now, and i think im finally beginning to see real, 'long term' statistics. keep playing, and good luck with the 50s.

that's not 100% true.

You just REALLY have to know how to adjust your strategy from the 10s to the 50s. 10s are all about knowhing HOW to value bet hands like top pair, and when to bluff. 50s involve some more post flop skills.

If your previous poker experience (home games maybe?) involved people that are more sensible than the average 10s player, it can easily be the case that you are a much better 50s player than a 10s player.

Your sample size is ridiculously small though....one way to realize this is try changing just one of your 4th places to a 1st, and notice that your ROI will adjust by at least 5%, so you can see how much variance there is in the short term.
