I play in a daily tournament at a local poker hall and i'm wondering what the best way to play it is. There's normally about 10-15 people, buy-in is $30 and you get six $5 re-buys at any point during the first hour of the tournament. You can buy them all at the start if you want, or wait til the break and add-on no matter how many chips you already have. What would be the optimal strategy here? I normally buy 2 add-ons to start out with and the rest at the break.
Also, these guys are horrible. Last night I saw limp re-raises with AJ and UTG+1 re-raising my UTG raise (AA) with 44. The raises are commonly 6-8xBB and the blinds go up at a really high rate. You start with 300 chips, the blinds at 10-15, going up every 10 minutes. By the 4th or 5th level, everybody but 1 or 2 people is <10xBB. Any advice on how to play against that?
