help please, need ideas for chip trays

right now i have an old 8 person poker table that i "refurbished" with new felt and cup holders. But, i still have thes old crappy chip trays. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas of a meterial i could use to fill the trays, i've heard rumors of moldable cork but don't know where to find it. also, where can i purchase paint/chalk to design my table top.
