LAG is 60/25, PFR could be any suited A, any PP, any 2 broadway. SLP is a calling station, but he hasn't been around long. I decided there was no AK out there based on the flop action. I didn't bet the river fearing an AQ would give me AK but call it down. Thoughts?

I think you need to bet the river based on your reads and the action of the hand. You miss out on 2 BBs too many times to let this check through.

I concur. If there was ever a place to value bet the river it's here. I expect LAG to checkraise me on the turn if he's AK or AQ. SLP could have anything. I call a river checkraise.

Why didn't you bet the river? You just lost 2 BB.

Why didn't you bet the river?

Because my river play is crappy. I'm going through PT looking for reasons why I'm a 1.5bb/100 instead of my targeted 3+, and I'm finding these. This time LAG is KK and SLP is ATo and I miss my bets. Other times I get CR'd on the river by AK or A9 and I'm trying learn the difference.

Definitely bet that river. What happened since the flop to convince you that you weren't ahead?
