Sorry if this has been covered in the past, but why do they only allow you to change your icon once? Is there any way to get them to let you change it again?

If you email them and ask, they will let you change it. And warn you that it's the last time they'll let you do it.

Probably something to do with the workload of having over half a million people constantly asking for a new picture.
