The state of Utah put a T1 line up the mountain for emergency services (fire and police). The state put something called "WebSense" on the line so the fireman, and others, couldn't use the T1 line for gambling or sex sites.
Well, what does this have to do with me? The only ISP with a local dial-up number has a deal with the state to carry about a dozen lines of theirs on the T1. We have to use an anonymizer to hide what sites we go to.
It's certainly a pain in the butt just to have a 28 kps line.
Life is hell, but I'm winning at poker, so everything is A.O.K.
