is this for real????

HIGHLANDS OFFERS 100% bonus on deposits over 100 up to 500!!!

you only have to play 500 raked hands.....

the question is

IS THIS A SCAM (sounds too good to be true)

are they going out of buisness and taking whatever they can???

what do you guys think???

No scam there... With the 5 times raked hands to play necessary to gain this bonus, they are just lowering the rake by 20%.

This is incentive and will push many to play back there, especially if ttheir customer service is still at its previous level.

Good point for all those advocating a low rake site to to efficiently compete with PP.

Who else offers a 5000 dollar free roll tourney every month? Who else offers 3 different jackpots I have played lots on Highlands and I feel it's a real good place to play. They're just trying to get it going again. In case you're wondering, I don't work for them. I just have enjoyed playing there. Give it a try.

I just deposited 475 (for some reason that was max) but now the site seems to be down. Im worried. Anyone else?

How long after people bite do they go belly up?

AS some of you may well know Highlands Club experienced many difficulties over the past several months ..Our previous location in Belize just did not have the technical infrastructure that it takes to maintain a first rate Poker site.

We are pleased to announce that we have relocated to the beautiful Island of Margarita and have joined forces with one of the leaders in the off-shore sportsbook buisness, Grand Central Sports www.betgcs.com (http://www.betgcs.com).

Our new facility not only provides us with outstanding technical support, but also with a new level of customer support that we are sure will be unparalled in online poker...

COME SEE FOR YOUR SELF !!!! Take advantage off 100% bonus......WE have three games scheduled for 6pm est 3-6 holdem 5-10 holdem and 10-20 holdem

I am trying to get in and take advantage of this offer, but i simply cannot seem to get the software to work. I finally managed to get an account opened (no money yet) but i cannot get into the cardroom. My system is old but meets all the requirements so i don't know what the problem is.

Also with the 5x number of hands that need to be played to qualify for the bonus, what stakes can these games be played at? Is it just 3/6 holdem and above? Are these the only games that ever get going on Highlands?

I have no doubts over the credibility of the site, Doyle Brunson has a very good name in the poker world (actually probably the best name in the poker world), and i'm sure he doesn't want a failed online room to drag him through the mud. Pokerspot on the other hand...

Highlands was one of the very worst sites when ranked on customer service. They are likely on the financial brink. Gamble up!

Highlands is one of the best sites for customer service.Your emails are answered very fast, you also have a on call host button you can use anytime. On top of that you can phone them anytime and talk to someone live.Cheques take 2 days to arrive at your door.Highlands at the moment does not have many games but I think without question that highlands has if not the best then one of the best customer services anywhere online.

Hold on Bob. I played at Highlands for a few months back around April to June. First I tried a cashout of 3,000. After about 5 phone calls and 3+ weeks I finally received my money. Soon after I requested a final cashout of 7,600. Once again a week and then two went by and the same thing. It wasn't until I threatened to come visit them on the island that they sent my check. It arrived in two days. All in all I really don't have that many complaints about the site or the way I was treated in the end. That is as long as my checks clear. I understand it takes 4-6 weeks or more for international chacks to clear,so I could change face really quickly. If my checks do clear I will play there again, after all isn't the most important thing getting paid.

You were very lucky. My experience is almost exactly opposite. I would advise all to avoid them.

I can't log into highlands club. Anyone able to log in? I can't log in for the past 15 or so hours. I just get the initial progress bar when it tries to connect to server, then it times out and exits the program!

Your stability means nothing to me since I'll never play poker with you again. This buy-in bonus sound pretty darn desperate. How would you (or any offshore outfit operating outside any US law) convince a player of your stability over the phone? There are many here that are curious. There are a few like me that hold bum markers from PokerSpot.
