Hand 1: I prefer your suggested line as well. Call the raise on the flop, and pop the turn.

Hand 2: Looks good since you have the Q of /images/graemlins/spade.gif.

would you raise a favorable turn in hand 1 if you smooth called? If not, I would reraise the flop as you did.

hand 1: what about those times he does have the best hand? if you smooth call and raise the turn, he's got you trapped when he 3-bets...i'd 3-bet the flop here to take control of the hand...i'd stick with how you played the hand.

hand 2: well played. like it was said before, it helps that you have the Q /images/graemlins/spade.gif.
