Well I have only played poker for about 6 months so I'm quite the newbie...but I've played a lot online, read 9 books (half-way through Harrington's AWESOME book) and read this forum every day so I think I'm probably up over most 6 month guys.

Anyway, I've played a lot of online tournaments (mostly SnG's though) and played live $3/6 ring games but never played a tournament in a casino. It is a $100 NL (with one $100 rebuy) $10,000 prize pool at Hustler Casino here in Los Angeles. It is limited to the first 150 prople.

Anyone have any advice? I'm a little excited and a little nervous. It starts in 2 hours, I'll post back my results when I get back tonight.

Thanks!!!

Play tight; but then again, don't be afraid.

Good Luck!

Thanks, I pretty much HATE playing in rebuys because I'm too cheap to rebuy. My strategy is to play UBER-tight until the rebuy period is over. Then play tight for a while after that. Then, hopefully survive a while and then open up my game as the number of players decreases.
