How many hands do you need before this becomes a meaningful statistic to catagorize opponets.

Infinite or zero, since I do not believe it IS a meaningful statistic.

It tells you 2 things at once and in so doing tells you nothing /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Having said that it is better than nothing. I use it as a guide and I use it from 30 hands onwards. However, I pay much less attention to it until I see 100 hands or so and even then I prefer 200 /images/graemlins/smile.gif

However, once I get that many hands, I use a different and more accurate measure so it becomes of no relevance again /images/graemlins/grin.gif

look at the "Getting to know you" threads.

You will guess from that I am sure.

There are many other measures that might be useful as well but this forum seems to have no interest in discussing them /images/graemlins/frown.gif
