I got a Two Card shuffler from the "Sharper Image." First shuffler, real cool, fast and beats dealing by hand. /images/graemlins/cool.gif

Home game: Crazy game with 5 in your hand with 3 board cards. I had 237TT and the board was 77K. I checked raised with my 7's full of tens and got called by a pair of sixes.

That was a nice poker gift.

Edit: Ok, seriously. My nephew gave me a WPT tee shirt that says World Champion of Poker on the front. I can't wait to wear that next time I go to Vegas. Just for a goof.

My GF got me a belated B-day present (november)...she saw a cheesy looking t-shirt that said "POKER KING" and couldn't resist.
Similar to your feelings about your WPT-Champ shirt, I will probably wear it to a casino sometime.

I liken it to going to a bar and wearing a T-shirt that says "BEER" in really big letters.

My girlfriend asked me what she got me last year as she could not remember. I replied 'a t-shirt and some pussy - and they were both way too big!' For some reason she failed to see the humour?

Thank you,

Nothing, so I got myself a 19" LCD to better surf and play at the same time.

Now, if only I could get a "BEER" T-shirt to wear to the casino...

Hey send me the pot. My family knows Dad doesn't need anymore ties. So, they gave me something they knew I'd truly enjoy - a poker week in Las Vegas.

Texas Hold'em boxers. My dad suggested that I wear them to Vegas this weekend and drop trowel when I buy in at the table to show them I mean business.

Same here, although I had just returned the same book to the library three days before. Whoops!

At least the paperback edition is updated with new information about the trial...

None, thank god.

I'm really sick of everything about poker, except for playing it. Am I the only one?

I agree, to a degree...

I am really sick of the corny Poker Apparel that is out there. Seriously, if I ever caught myself wearing a shirt that says "Big Slick" on it, I'd kick my own ass.

Huh! The "Big Slick" T-Shirt has to do with poker? Turd- I thought it had to do with making out with "Women."

I agree.

The Poker King shirt was the first (and only) gift given to me of a poker-related theme.
Other than that, I only owned poker books as well as poker-shirts that the online sites sent me.

I recently purchased a set of chips because I was alerted to a good deal a few weeks ago.
I felt kind of weird that I play as much poker as I do and I didn't even own a set of chips.

I see those ads for the 'All-In' poker-wear in cardplayer where they say that you want to 'dress like a pro' or something like that and I wonder what kind of person actually buys that stupid crap.

I was hoping for a chip protector with a pic of my kids. Sadly, I forget to tell my wife so she couldn't have known.

I got an 'awesome' shirt that says 'USA poker' and has an eagle tearing through an Ace of awesomeness (it has no real suit).

My parents laughed as I opened it and told me I never have to wear it. But I will!

I got "Big Deal" by Anthony Holden. Good book, but man was he not a very good player (he felt like he was a more consistent winner at blackjack).

Although to be fair 1988 was a long time ago in terms of NLHE knowledge.
