I've been having a tough time finding the right level of aggression at 2/4. For example:

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (8 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

Preflop: Hero is CO with A/images/graemlins/heart.gif, K/images/graemlins/club.gif.
3 folds, MP2 calls, Hero raises, 3 folds, MP2 calls.

Flop: (5.50 SB) 2/images/graemlins/heart.gif, T/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 7/images/graemlins/heart.gif (2 players)
MP2 checks, Hero bets, MP2 calls.

Turn: (3.75 BB) 9/images/graemlins/club.gif (2 players)
MP2 checks, Hero checks.

River: (3.75 BB) 5/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (2 players)
MP2 checks, Hero checks.

Final Pot: 3.75 BB

Don't have a solid read on MP2, but appears loose-passive.

I most often, but not always, bet the turn here. If you check the turn any ace and any pair will bet the river, and you'll have to call.

Without a read, heads-up and in position, I think you should bet the turn.

I've played thousands of these, and am still not totally sure a lot of the time. Given that you checked the turn, a river check is clear. However, I think against an unknown, you bet the turn here, unless your history at the table, your opponent or some other factor dictates otherwise.

yea, heads up, this seems like a pretty standard turn bet and river check.

now given the same opponent, what would you all do if he bet into the hero on the turn...? this seems like an all too common situation here.

First, turn bet = must. We should not even consider the check/fold on turn. Any raise = call and check/fold on river if no A or K.

A turn bet would be an incredibly easy muck.

Bet the turn, fold if raised and check the river through unimproved if the villan calls your turn bet. Heads up with position, this is my SOP unless the board scares me.

And if the villan bets into you on the turn, I think it's an easy fold.

I like betting one more time and taking a free showdown. If he is a frequent bluffer, then checking the turn is a good idea IMO. Against a default I'm betting it.
