i just thought of something. If the WSOP is capped this year to 6660 palyers like speculated, than a seat might be worth more than 10k if they sell out.

The "value" of a seat should either mean:

1) the amount that one can resell it for or
2) the amount that one could pay and still be +EV on the deal

the two, if everyone were motivated the same, and rational, would theoretically be the same, i suppose.

i'm amazed that you somehow came to the conclusion that your "epiphany" was original or unique, however, since it's the most obvious statement in the world. it's like saying "i just discovererd, with desired substances, the scarcer the quantity, the higher the unit price! hand me a nobel prize!"

btw, this post isn't aimed directly at you, it's also aimed at the patzer who said "it may be +EV to win seats and resell them." No bleeping bleep! it's +ev to pay a little for something and then sell it for a higher price! holy cow! alert the times, the post, and the weekly world news! i hope you jumped out of your bathtub and ran through the streets naked for that discovery.

Sorry I mis posted. I ment to say "Buy seats and sell them online". The joke is how people pay above msrp to buy from some shady online sellar for the thrill of winning an auction. You should chill a bit also

I appreciate all the kind words....My post is not spam..This seat is for sale to the highest bidder. The $9,000 starting bid is so NOBODY actually bids on it...I'm hoping to do a deal outside of e-bay(to save about $300 in fees)....Best offer so far is $6500... Ron
