Cracked plasma screen. Options?

I bought a plasma screen TV from an online source and it got damaged in shipping. The insurance covered the cost of the TV, but now I have a cracked plasma TV that I don't want to throw away.

I've read that fixing plasma screens are about as expensive as buying a new one, but I was wondering if anyone had found a source that could fix them at a reasonable price. Are there any other options available? Thanks in advance.

Hang it in a conspicuous outside location where you can't really notice the damage. That way passers-by will think you're just filthy rich, and all your friends can get laid 24/7.
