Help a computer illiterate

I downloaded Paradise Poker.


When I try to get into the site I get a message saying Error Starting Program. A required DLL file, Wininet DLL. was not found. I have no idea what to do.


Thanks for any help. Should I contact the site?

first... try this.....


1 go to my computer, control panel, add/remove programs to remove the PP client from your system...


2 reboot


3 Download the setup.exe program again....


4 Re-install.....


5 Then try to connect.

My guess is you are running Windows 95-A and you have not installed IE 4.0 or above. Are you a netscape user?


If I am correct, then what you need to do is install IE 4.0 or above and you will get the DLL you need.


Windows 95-A is missing a lot of the common DLLs that internet based programs use now-a-days. Recent versions of IE provide what's missing.
