A typical James Brooks movie: if you've seen one, you've seen 'em all. Reminded me of Broadcast News, which reminded me of As Good as It Gets, which reminded me of the one last year with Jack Nicolson and Diane Keaton which reminded me of this one. Same boring yuppies hung up on their own "problems" dealing with someone beneath them, with the same music playing. Speaking of Nicholson, we now have to watch Adam Sandler, apparently watching Jack too closely in Anger Management, mugging and taking fifteen seconds to get each line out.

But there are some heartwarming moments. Your girlfriend and/or wife will love it. I went with my wife and sister-in-law and they cleaned me out of my Kleenex. I had some trouble staying awake. Cloris Leachman is the best and has the best lines. A harmless enough 98 minutes.

All I had to do was see the preview: Drunk, wisecrackin' senior. Nope. Even more automatic than a diaper change or a pet in the toilet.
