Button seems TAG, no read on UTG+1. My image is LAG.

I think a fold on the turn is in order. It's definately close, though. The button surely doesn't have you beat, but wtf utg+1. He would have to be a total crazy to not have you beat.

Yeah, I think you definitely cringe and fold to the 3-bet on the turn. Against almost anyone you are beaten bad by UTG+1.

I'd put button on a high PP. And you can't help but put UTG+1 on 55 or k5suited, etc. But he has the five. And yes, it is appropriate to fold the rockets to the 3-bet. One pair WILL NOT win this hand - and it is doubtful that a river ace will save you.

Turn Fold!!! That's crazy man.

His hand is definitely good - For all the raising preflop, you have to think that the button has JJ or QQ. That's why he slowed down on the flop instead of capping it. (Or was that the turn).

He definitely won this hand... That's just what I think.

It stinks, I'll agree, but you have to fold to the turn 3-bet. As someone said, EVEN if you hit your Ace ... you're probably not winning. Not worth the chase -- and it always is annoying when Aces lose to Random Joe Hand X.

you're wrong. button isn't what we're worried about. we're worried about utg+1's sudden turn 3-bet.

Button has KK, UTG+1 has 55, and you have two outs when you're faced with 2 cold on the turn. Unless UTG+1 is semi-maniacal, this is a clear fold.

i guess all of you are more disciplined than i am... i knew there was a chance utg+1 had 55 but i couldn't fold. as it turns out, the river 4 saved me...

utg+1: A/images/graemlins/club.gif, K/images/graemlins/club.gif (busted nut flush draw)
button: 3/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 6/images/graemlins/spade.gif (negated two pair)

like i said, wtf?

Happens. But I don't think it'll happen often enough against unknowns for it to be worth the cold call.
