FWIW, a google search of "COMPBONUS Party" (no quotes) yields 1 result, a link to a United Poker Forum by RustiJedi (I think he also posts on 2+2), clearly stating that it is a 1st time bonus. It almost is certainly a mistake on Party's part, given that most reloads you get a week to clear, while first time deposits you get a month. But, I'm sure a lot of you will be able to clear the bonus before Party catches its mistake.

I was working like hell to try and clear this bonus before I leave for my Xmas vacation in 2 hours, so I played NL 25 6-max. I min-raised everytime I needed the pot to hit the $2 mark to be raked, plus I played super LAG. I played every single hand from the button and always potted it if it was checked to me on the flop.

They are softer than .5/1, at least with some decent table selection they are. Had a table where 7 to flop was the norm, very sweet. Everyone stays to the river so it was "bad beat" heaven though. Justin ended up getting the code and told me that he emailed party about not getting credit for a certian bonus so party gave him this 1. I asked him what the code was and he told me. I was like...I am going to try that code on my account and see if it works. I tried it and BINGO. See, I'm not a bonus whore. I play poker full-time, but play at a limit where whoring isn't generally something I pursue. No big deal, I just don't.

If you read Justin's post, there's nothing that says that it's a big secret. Those of us who would not know that it WAS a secret could not possibly be expected to know such a thing, it being as esoteric an endeavor as it is, this entire bonus whoring thing.

I don't begrudge anyone the right to whore bonuses. Those who whore bonuses and then post them on a public forum for all to read probably ought to be smart enough to realize that not everyone's life revolves around $100 a month or whatever, and will be therefore somewhat less inclined to KNOW or CARE TO KNOW enough about the protocols involved to actually act in accordance with the little rules and bylaws set down by "Proud Canadians" trying to take over the poker world one bonus at a time.

No offense, but get a clue. Log onto Party at any moment, and take note of the fact that there are 20,000-60,000 people playing. I doubt I set off any sirens and a big flashing sign. "Alert! Alert! We have a breach!! Code Malmuth! Code Malmuth!! All hands on deck!! Man your battle stations!! For the love of Vishnu, this is not a drill!!"

All I did was ask some guy in Bhopal or Calcutta why I wasn't being given the bonus that I thought I might be entitled to anyway.

After I cleared the Party Bonus (got slowed down by holiday B&amp;M poker) I went for the Poker Now bonus. Last time I was there I played the NovReload bonus, alas the COMPBONUS code didn't work at PokerNow /images/graemlins/frown.gif

It did not work for me when i used IGM pay about a week ago...but it worked about 6am et today when i used neteller...i've heard it only works with neteller.

This is a glitch code that worked for some not for others. E-mailing them won't do anything.
