Gentlemen of Leisure,

This is a 2 part question of significant importance to gentlemen of the hustling persuasion. Firstly, in the seminal teen movie 16 Candles, how many floppy disks were wagered on the likelihood of Farmer Ted being successful in procuring Molly Ringwald's character's panties for other geeks to view in the boy's latrine?

Secondly, and this is the part of interest to gambling theorists, what was the Ev + or - on the aforementioned wager.

Have a nice day and always remember to never let a skank blow on the dice. The dice are pure instruments of our sacred pastime and should remain unsullied.

First - post these in OOT

Question 1: One dozen

Question 2: WAAAAAAAAY +EV (almost uncalculable) "Floppy disks are pretty expensive " - so if he wins the bet, he gets expensive stuff, plus he may have a chance to score with a hot sophmore. Even if he loses, he won't lose any status - he's still "King of the Geeks". Plus his friends are morons so he can always go double or nothing on some sucker bet.
