I am relatively new to playing hold ‘em online and while I find myself capable of holding my own in long handed games, I am finding difficulty in playing short handed – particularly heads up. So far I have gotten to the final table in a number of tournaments but have fallen down at this point.

I was wondering is there a good book that covers heads up play? Are there any guides to this topic that are published online?

Read Part 5 of Hold-em Poker for Advanced Players (Sklansky & Malmuth). Not sure if this will help with tournament play though. I think it's more for ring games.

You may want to look in the "books/software" forum. The new Harrington book on tourney play seems to be getting good reviews. I have not read it yet but it's sitting under the Christmas tree. /images/graemlins/laugh.gif
