If we ignore the obvious fact that I should have folded the flop, this is standard right?

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with K/images/graemlins/spade.gif, T/images/graemlins/spade.gif.
UTG calls, UTG+1 folds, MP1 calls, Hero calls, MP3 folds, CO folds, Button folds, SB completes, BB checks.

Flop: (5 SB) J/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 3/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (5 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, MP1 bets, Hero raises, SB calls, BB folds, UTG folds, MP1 3-bets, Hero calls, SB calls.

Turn: (7 BB) A/images/graemlins/spade.gif (3 players)
SB checks, MP1 bets, Hero folds...

Did you know you turned a straight?

Do you have the river card right? Did you really call a 3-bet on the turn only to fold the river to a bet when one of your eight outs to the straight comes in?

Actually that's not what happened

Yes, that flop play really doesn't make a lot of sense to me. I'd probably just let it go to the first flop bet.

I'm not sure I like the turn fold either. MP1 would play A /images/graemlins/diamond.gif x offsuit the same way.

What?!?!?! Am I the only one that sees taht we flopped an OESD w/ an overcard then turned broadway?

Holy schmakaroooni! LOL
I guess playing for 12 hours straight does that to you...

That´s it I´m quitting for the day...

And the fold turned out to be better than I ever dreamt of. SB had flopped a K high flush and took it down.
Wish I of course knew... ahem...

Nothing better than to make a total ass of myself than the 2+2 board...

night all...

It's a small pot, you likely have 6 outs at best, and are no where near closing the action. I don't think this is one you want to continue with.

What does the turn have to do with it? I said fold the flop. I said it was a bad turn fold.

The comment about the turn was more focused at the original poster.

Wait.<-(corrected by me /images/graemlins/grin.gif) Did you honestly not know you had a straight?

I wish I could lie to you guys... but no... Somehow in my tired state of mind I could recognise that I flopped a OESD but failed to see when I turned the broadway...

As I said earlier, g´night all...

Wish this could have been one of those CDC tough laydown hands where I had a solid read on SB, and just KNEW that he had a flopped flush...

Be gentle guys...

Got ya.

Do you see what I'm saying about the flop though? Am I way off here? It seems like a pretty clear fold to me. What am I missing?

For 6SB I'm just going to let this one go on the flop. Obviously you didn't mean to fold the nut straight on the turn.

When the A/images/graemlins/spade.gif came on the turn he was clearly beaten. Do you see why? /images/graemlins/grin.gif
