After cutting my session short last night to prevent tilt, I played about an hour at lunch today. Was up 25ish BB after maybe 180 hands, and then I hit a pretty awful stretch and, I think, tilted a bit. How do these look?

Hand 1. Overplayed, considering the limp rr?

I've started turning my 2/4 game around, but I definitely still have holes, so take this advice with a grain of salt (and feel free to comment on my advice as well, since I learn as much from that as from posting my own hands).

Hand 1:
I usually won't cap with AKo, only with AKs. Flop is worrisome, since he bet into you on an Ace-high flop, but I would 3-bet as well. However, the stop-and-go looks like better than top pair to me -- I call down from there as well and expect to see AA.

Hand 2:
Maybe I'm weak, but the turn raise indicates better than TP for me unless I have a read otherwise. I call the raise and check/call the river, although I think your line could've worked as well if you'd taken the free SD.

Hand 3:
This is a little scary, since tons of overcards can ruin your day, but acting next to last, if you think your flop bet can fold out some people (rare at 2/4) or buy the button (more likely), I think it's ok. The rest of the hand, I play the same way.

Hand 4:
The 3-bet is not terrible -- with TT I'd 3-bet, so it's not that bad with 9's and it lets you isolate.

I bet the turn and fold to a check-raise. I then take the free SD if I get it. I'm 50-50 on whether I'd fold to a river bet, but I'd probably make a crying call.

Hand 5:
I fold this in EP. Once you come in for a raise and are raised on the flop, I call and fold the turn inimproved as you did.

I only play ATo as an open raise from late position, but the table was 5-handed when this happened. I think the rule of thumb at a short table is to pretend that the first 4 or 5 people have folded, so that's what I'd do if that was the case.

TY for the comments on each hand.

Ah, I missed that, I use that same rule of thumb as well.

I retract my comments on that hand -- I play the whole hand the same.

Hand 1: I would not 3-bet his flop raise but simply call down. He either has AA or something nutty. If it's something nutty let him keep firing.

Hand 2: I wouldn't 3-bet the turn at 2/4 where most players are very passive. Save this for a more aggressive game and just call down here.

Hand 3: Easy turn fold unless you have a read.

Hand 4: The preflop 3-bet is actually standard for me when I can get it heads-up. I would bet this turn since the A might scare him as much as it scares you. If he raises, fold. If he calls, check/fold the river.

Hand 5: Perfect.
