Ax Offsuit From the BB facing a Raise

How do y'all play Ax from the BB when there is a raise in front?

My initial reaction is to fold that crap. Who knows what to do after the flop comes out. But I have two questions:

(1) If there are more people in pot already for 2 bets do you call now? How many more?

(2) How big of a kicker do you need to call/raise? Is A8 better than A3?

I may post a hand for reference when I find one.

there are exceptions to this rule depending on opponent (for instance, I'd defend with most aces against a 20% PFR, but probably only AQ/AK against a 5% PFR), but against typical/unknowns, here goes.

offsuit, it's a fold for me unless it's a button raise and I have AJo or better, in which case I likely three bet. multiway, I'll see a flop with ATo+ usually, but I don't three bet unless I have AK. A9 or below it's gotta be suited for me to consider it.

Yeah A8o is better than A3o, but I rarely call a raise from the BB with AXo.

Pretty much the only time I would not fold is a button blind steal attempt when I have A8o, A9o, or ATo. This is only against players I have reads on as well, because reads are important postflop. I would never play AXo in a multiway pot, unless the entire table coldcalled an UTG raise.

Basically, if you folded it to every raise, you wouldn't be losing out on much at all.

Edit: BTW, this post is regarding AXo where X is not a face card.
