In our home game we have been playing Hold 'em for a while and now a lot of players seem to have taken a liking to Omaha and Omaha-8. I am finding it a little difficult to adjust. I've had no previous Omaha experience.
Like what are the requirements for starting hands in say 8-player games? High pair and suited connectors? and how should I play on the flop. Draw when I have more than three possible hands to hit? Never played omaha and interested in some of the basic strategy.
Oh and players are generally loose-passsive pre-flop and aggressive on the flop. which probably shows a bit of inexperience.
