Anyone played this?
I went to a house game tonight where they played a lot of what they called 9-card stud. $5/$10 here; a few loose players with one tight old guy. Deuces are wild. Everyone gets 3 down cards and rolls one up card of their choice. Two cards are flipped, which are community cards, then it goes round for the betting. Next card is down. You choose which one to flip up again, bet etc., until everyone has 7 in their hand plus two communal.
Any suggestions for strategy for this one? Sit and wait for a coupla deuces?
Thanks for any tips.
