You played this fine. If you lost that sucks but what else should you do? Not bet top pair three handed when no one else is showing any strength? That would be a leak. Play like this is not.

I'd have folded on the river.

Villain called down with KJo. Sorry, I just need some reinforcement after a bad run clearing this bonus on party. My aggressiveness is biting me in the ass when passive people call down with big hands.

I know that feeling! /images/graemlins/shocked.gif /images/graemlins/crazy.gif

It happens and you just got to keep moving on. After some bad runs, sometimes I wonder if my aggressiveness really pays off in the end. But my pokertracker stats and bankroll are still telling me it does, so I will continue doing it. /images/graemlins/wink.gif

In all seriousness, I understand that feeling. You played it right, though -- nice hand.

In the long run, you'll eat up those passive players.

No, he may have something like QJ, JT, J9s etc... and not be happy with his kicker or he could be playing overcards and think you are doing the same.

I have called down with A high in these situations with a ragged board. You would be suprised how many times you end up taking the pot.

Until he raises, you have no reason to back off.
