Am I overvaluing my hand in EP pre-flop? I thought that after the fact, post-flop play was standard. Thoughts?

I'm not a fan of 3-betting an UTG raise with AQs. in addition to most players raising only premium hands, there's a reasonable chance of of the 8 players behind you wakes up with a better hand than you, which will leave you out of position and dominated. this is one of the few spots I wouldn't really mind a cold call 2nd in, but I'd just muck it

I just noticed he was almost all in, so it's fine.

postflop is perfect

Id muck here...
with better position and couple cold callers in front of you, id cold call, but unless youve got a read on the utg as a lag, i dont like the 3bet.

post flop is exactly how i would play it...probably the only way to play it

Results are in:

MP did in fact have AQ, the pre-flop capper shows JJ, and the guy to my left shows a set of fours on the flop. he wins AQ loses

I had a read on UTG's top five raising hands, but only for 50 or so hands. I wouldnt have 3-bet pre-flop if my notes didnt tell me he likes to raise KJ, KQ, and AJ

UTG+2 CC 3 bets preflop with 44? Damn, maybe I should look for 2/4 when it's not the first night of a $200 reload bonus....

These are bad to raise with preflop? Is this the worst you've seen him raise with in this spot? If so, be careful.
