Empire search function "no more than 200 characters" crash error

Anyone else get this?
When I select lots of my buddies to search for in the search function, the client occasionally gives me an error message "enter no more than 200 characters", which would be no more than an annoyance, except that this error always causes the software to crash, and close all of my tables.

Anyone else get this? Or no a solution?

I get this and have simply limited my search to 18 players. if lost of them have long names i get it as well, so if i see a number of long ones, i simply cut a few off and search twice...
