PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t30 (9 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

Preflop: Hero is SB with J/images/graemlins/spade.gif, Q/images/graemlins/heart.gif.
UTG calls t30, UTG+1 (Villain) calls t30, 5 folds, Hero completes, BB checks.

Flop: (t120) J/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 8/images/graemlins/club.gif (4 players)
Hero bets t180, BB folds, UTG folds, Villain raises to t360

Hero does not like the min raise. This is a $6 SnG. T9 is a definite possibility. So is QJ. Q8/J8 would be a bit unlikely even at this level, but for sure not impossible. IMHO the min raise says "I can beat one pair". So I doubt KQ or AQ is out, but again, who knows. Also, this is a very draw heavy board. Something like ATd is not impossible, although to typical player might raise all in on it. What does Nick's cow think?

Edit: I overbet the pot because of the mega draw friendly flop. I can't see anyone think I am stealing on this board. Perhaps I should have made it 140 or so, though. Also, until recently I was folding this PF, but have been convinced otherwise by Eastbay.

I pushed and got shown the inevitable T9. Merde.

I voted call because 109 is a commonly played hand.

I like your more than pot sized bet here. I think AQ, KQ, and J10, and Q10 would probably all (incorrectly?) call, but you get rid of the pure flush draws and most straight draws.

Calling is pretty dumb if you don't have a plan for the rest of the hand.

Calling his raise makes no sense here, because you are very unlikely to improve on the turn and villain will surely bet again. I like a reraise. Make it 700 to go and fold to a push. This kind of "testing the waters" play works well at low buyins. 99% of $6 SNG opponents will push with the nuts after your reraise. There's no way not to get hurt on this hand, but you don't have to get broke.

You have 4 outs for the boat, and semi bluff all in for a diamond wouldn't be a bad play, although it is hard to put you on a diamond draw other than A8.

Also if a A, 10 or 9 come on the turn you'd have an easier time letting go of this hand to all-in turn or river bet. A reraise of a pot size bet generally means I have TPTK beat. 88, 109 and JQ, J8, Q8 are the only possible limping hands that beat TPTK. It seems to me that the first three are much more likely than the last 2.

Realistic, I think I'd end up all at the river much of the time because we know lots of people with KQ or AQ will push in this situation.
