Both of these movies are so good that if you don't know the language, you won't even notice that you're reading the subtitles. Both are definitely worth a second viewing without the subtitles, especially if you have even a little grasp of the language.

Both are available on DVD. I believe Maria Full of Grace is still in some small theaters as well.

I find that I rarely ever realize I am reading sub titles once a movie is under way. It's pretty cool how the brain just sort of meshes everything together.
