Loose passive table, feel MP1 is trying to steal the pot. What would you do? (I suspect pot is too small to be worth to call but go with your gut?)

Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (8 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 8/images/graemlins/heart.gif, 4/images/graemlins/club.gif.
UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, MP1 calls, MP2 folds, CO folds, Button calls, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (4 SB) K/images/graemlins/club.gif, 5/images/graemlins/heart.gif, K/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (4 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, MP1 checks, Button checks.

Turn: (2 BB) 9/images/graemlins/heart.gif (4 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, MP1 checks, Button checks.

River: (2 BB) 8/images/graemlins/club.gif (4 players)

I fold. Usually a river bet is for real. Your kicker is crap, and it's only a 2BB pot. You're not going to be good here 50% of the time. Save the bet.

I've been guilty of this same call. I think Hack is right though. So were you right? /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Nope... A9os.. darn... earlier on in the night, I've seen them betting Ace high at the river after a check-fest... oh well I should really consider the pot size first.

Thx!
